Preparation for final examinations: Students, we are fast approaching final examinations. Your Course Coordinators and e-tutors are now engaged in wrapping up the respective courses and providing pointers for success in your final examinations. We wish you the very best, and we urge you to complete all of the units in your course material and use the unit discussion forums and e-tutor presentations as part of your revision. Read widely as preparation is key! E-tutors, your support at this time is crucial. Timely feedback on assignments and completion of comments and ratings for graded discussions, feedback on essays and projects and completion of the relevant grading area in Moodle are all imperatives.

 New beginnings:  Students, those of you who will be returning in the new academic year, will experience an improved navigational experience as we will be changing the look of Moodle. It will be more interactive and user friendly, reflecting our efforts to improve your learning experience. In addition, returning students will be part of an exciting initiative as UWIDEC transitions to become an integral part of the new UWI Open Campus. You will be receiving more information on this development in the coming months. Please be assured that these developments are all designed to meet your needs and will realize an improved support system, for you our students, and the academic staff who facilitate learning.

Course Evaluations: Course evaluation questionnaires are now available in each of the courses and can be located in the block with your final course unit. Do take advantage of this opportunity to provide feedback on the services and support systems that we offer in this environment. We would really like to hear from you.
